I first learned how to throw pottery on the wheel in 2021, when I took a class at a community pottery studio in Charlottesville, Virginia. I was in my 4th and final year of my undergraduate studies, and I was looking for a healthy way to manage my school-related stress and a creative outlet. I quickly fell in love with the practice of making pottery (except glazing) and — most importantly — the guiding philosophy of making functional vessels that help us incorporate art into the minutiae of our everyday lives.

I have been creating and selling pottery since 2023.
