All jokes aside, this jar, #433 — and its larger companion, #440 — were pieces I initially threw on the wheel in tandem with the 3 blue jars. I glazed the green jars using a layering process and technique I developed and refined initially while making the blue jars.
This piece consists of a two, individually wheel-thrown pieces: a tulip-shaped cup and its’ lid. The lid features a “flange” which descends from the lid’s underside, and secures the lid from sliding off of the jar.
Jar measures approximately 4” tall (including lid).
Food safe. Microwave safe. Dishwasher safe.
