This speckled planter has an intricately carved pattern, and is finished with a dynamic glaze that in some places is a faint blue (clay speckles peek through), and a vibrant electric blue in places where the glaze is thicker. The carved pattern acted as a reservoir for the glaze, giving the carvings their bright color, and the liquid downward flow of the glaze in the kiln created the increasing amount of vibrant blue closer to the bottom of the pot.

This piece is a combined pot and drip tray with a drainage hole connected the two. A perfect choice for any plant lover (especially those who are prone to overwatering).
